JMM Team wins Fox 47 Msg2Teens Video Contest

Congratulations to Chris Herr '12, Ben Rifken '12, Jake Sullivan '13, and Billy Walsh '12 on winning the Fox 47 Msg2Teens Video contest for the 2nd year in a row! Fox 47 sponsors the contest each year, offering high school students in its viewing an opportunity to create a Public Service Announcement about Safe Teen Driving. Fox 47 chooses the top 5 finalists and posts the videos on their website for the public to vote on. The winning Video and the other finalists videos will air on Fox 47 from February through June. So tune in and don't skip the commercials.

JMM FILM FEST

JMM FILM FEST is an annual Student Film Showing at James Madison Memorial High School. The first Film Fest was put together by Students in the Art Department who had begun to make short videos as side projects or for independent study work. Special thanks to ambitious artists like Alex Jacobs '06, Joel Van Haren '06, Eddie Kunz '07, and others who played such an important part in creating a new tradition at JMM. THE TRADITION CONTINUES...

JMM VIDEO ART WINNERS

Congratulations to Chris Herr '12 and Sachin Dharwadker '13. Their 'I AM JMM' Video won the top prize from the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) Student Video Contest. Videos submitted needed to show how students were ready to 'change the future'. Chris and Sachin's video was selected the best student video from the entire state of Wisconsin. Well Done!
