2013 JMM FILM FEST

The 6th Annual JMM STUDENT FILM FEST was Friday, June 7th at Madison Memorial High School in the Auditorium.  It was an incredible evening, over 450 students, staff, and family packed into the Aud to enjoy 18 different films made by a talented group of Memorial Students.

I can't wait to see what next years students will come up with to entertain us.

135 Shots That Will Restore Your Faith in Cinema from Flavorwire on Vimeo.

Some of my students ask me "why do you teach video with in your photo class"...I now do not have to reply with words. Watch this eye-opening snapshot of cinematography over the past 100 years and it will visually convey the link between photography and cinema. ENJOY....

JMM VIDEO ART artists teamed up in the summer of 2011 to create a film for the 48 Hour Film Project:Madison.

On Friday Evening 7pm the group was given the following 4 requirements.

Genre chosen - Fantasy
Character- Matt Michaels - musician

All Requirements needed to be included in the film and the film had to be completed by Sunday at 7pm. I'm pretty sure there was not much sleeping Friday or Saturday night.
